AWS Delivery Program / Project Lead

Job Description

The AWS Delivery Program Lead is a senior software implementation leadership role. This position will specialize in delivering solutions within Amazon’s product suite as part of an already very experienced software solution delivery organization. The successful candidate will come from a senior project/program management and/or software development implementation role with experience of having led multiple Amazon-based solutions into production, and will be experienced with deliveries that specifically include Amazon Polly, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Management Console, Amazon Sagemaker, Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex. 

Essential functions / Core Responsibilities

  • You will run delivery, resolving delivery issues on large scale AWS programs 

  • Lead initiation, planning and execution of complex projects and programs. You will also be required to hands-on ensure professional services delivery standards while bringing to life best products for our clients 

  • Build your delivery team as well as taking active part in transforming the overall professional services delivery organization to accommodate fast-paced changing market and technology landscape 

  • Manage yourself as well as your team vs. KPIs around delivery, business health, people growth and technology proficiency 

  • Lead solutioning efforts, collaborating with other organizations around you to envision, solution and build the optimal solutions for our Customers 

  • Continue to foster your technology skills, lead, coordinate, and drive decision making process for key technology decisions 

  • You will be the Customers' delivery and technology partner, aligning Customer's vision with our solutions and capabilities, taking driver's seat navigating both Concentrix’s and the Customer teams' decisions as successful execution of decisions made 

  • Proactively identify issues and provides guidance to resolve program and team challenges in multi-geography teams' setup 

  • Develop practical solutions to achieve program productivity and quality goals and objectives 

  • Grow your team, mentor and overall take proactive position in improving the teams' skills and capabilities 

  • Day to day operation and Project management. 

  • Ability to manager daily scrums and weekly status reports to clients. 

  • Knowledge and working history with Jira to create and understand user stories. 

  • Ability to be able to plan for the weeks effort and communicate status of any given effort on a daily basis. 

  • Communicate and own effort hand off and communication withing the project groups. 

  • Ability to set task and due dates in order to identify issues and meet budget timelines and deliverables.
